5, 7, 10 year coatings.

Ceramic Coatings are maintenance free, chip resistant, and scratch free.

Unfortunately like everything in life requires maintenance.  Coatings do require to be washed with si02 wash.  Coatings help to keep a vehicle cleaner for months and years to come.  

I would ask myself how long do I plan on keeping my vehicle, boat, or motorcycle.  If you plan on selling it before the length of your coating then no I wouldn't choose to have it coated.  

It does cost more up front.  In the long run you would save money.  Ask yourself how much does it cost a year x the year of coating.  I can guarantee the customer would save money.

Waxing a vehicle can take an hour and a half while coating can take minimum of 48 hours.  Wax is a layer of protection.  All surfaces are polished to add depth, gloss, and clarity before they are coated. Both are two completely different services.  

If it were mine I wouldn't.  I would have it fully detailed.

I wouldn't choose the route of having it coated.  We would love to have your business but would have a hard time in taking your money.  Automatic car washes are notorious for scratching surfaces and will damage your clear coat!
